M <br />CITYofORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. __3 7 6^ <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERAUT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISIONS 20 AND 21 <br />FILE #2167 <br />WHEREAS, Allen Schefers and Judy Schefers, (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br />the owners of the property located at 2540 Casco Point Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />the "City") and legally described as: <br />Lot 2, Block 6, Townsite of Langdon Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter the <br />"property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City of Orono for a conditional use <br />permit to allow the importation of approximately 426 cubic yards of fill material in conjunction <br />with the construction of a new residence, where a maximum importation of 100 cubic yards of fill <br />is normally allowed per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivisions 20 and 21. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2167. <br />2.The property is located in the LR-IC Single Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br />District. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on August 19, 1996 <br />and recommended approval of the requested conditional use permit based upon the <br />following findings: <br />Page 1 of 5
