,, <br />rik • , ^ <br />V <br />i' V <br />I ‘ <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6 AND <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 <br />FILE NO. 2230 <br />WHEREAS, Georgine Hackney(hereinafler "the applicant") is the owner of the <br />property located at 2184 Shady wood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") <br />and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 16, Block 1, Wiley's Park Lake Minnetonka, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.25, Subdivision 6 and Section 10,22, Subdivision 2 to permit an <br />addition to the north side of an existing residence which would encroach 3.4' into the required <br />10' side yard setback and hardcover in the 75-250' setback area to increase from 2,419 sq. ft. <br />(25.06%) to 2,450 sq. ft. (25.38%) where 2,413 sq. ft. (25%) is allowed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2230. <br />The property is located in the LR-IC Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District where one-half acre minimum lot size is required. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on April 21, 1997 <br />and recommended unanimous approval of the proposed variance based upon the <br />following unique findings and hardships: <br />A.
