Sewered <br />15,541 sq. ft. (.356 acres)________________________________ <br />Application:Applicant is seeking a sideyard setback variance to allow for the <br />construction of a roof over the front entry which will encroach <br />approximately 2' into the required 10 ’ sideyard setback. The applicant <br />is also seeking an average lakeshore setback variance to construct a new <br />deck that would extend approximately 20 ’ into the required average <br />lakeshore setback. The existing residence encroaches 8 ’ into the required <br />average lakeshore setback. The applicant also seeks a hardcover variance <br />in the 75' to 250' setback area to add the new deck, front entry and redesign <br />the sidewalk. <br />Planning <br />Commission <br />Recommendation:To unanimously approve: <br />1.A sideyard variance along the north property line to allow for <br />for the construction of a roof over the front entry to encroach <br />2 ’ into the required 10 ’ sideyard setback. <br />2.An average lakeshore setback variance to allow for construction <br />of a new deck to encroach approximately 20' into the required <br />lakeshore setback where the existing residence encroaches 8 ’ <br />into the required lakeshore yard. <br />3.A hardcover variance to increase hardcover from 3,420 sq. ft. <br />(32.26%) to 3.637.8 sq. ft. (34.3%) where 2,680 sq. ft. (25%) <br />is allowed. A 9.32% is required. <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />REQUESTED: To approve the enclosed resolution.
