Chimneys, flues, belt corses, leaders, sills, pilasters, lintels, ornamental features, mechanical <br />devices, cornices, eaves, gutters, and the like, provided they do not extend more than 1.5 feet. <br />The overhangs proposed for the garage/laundry room addition encroach 3' into the required side <br />yard. They would need to be reduced to 1.5' to be considered a non-encroachment. The applicant <br />has indicated that the 3* overhang is consistent with the architecmral style of the residence. A side <br />yard setback variance of 1.5' is needed. <br />1
