(.314 acres) <br />Application:Applicant is seeking a sideyard variance to allow overhangs to encroach <br />3 ’ into a 10’ required side yard. Applicant is also seeking a hardcover <br />variance in the 75-250’ setback area to add a new deck and family room <br />to the lakeside of an existing residence and to build a new garage and <br />laundry room to be attached to the streetside of the existing residence. A <br />structural coverage variance is also required for the new additions. <br />Planning <br />Commission <br />Recommendation: To approve on a 5-2 vote the following: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />A sideyard variance to allow overhangs to encroach 3' into a <br />required 10’ sideyard along the south property line. <br />A hardcover variance in the 75’-250 setback area to allow <br />sq. ft. [Planning Commission directed the applicant to <br />reduce structural coverage by 144 sq. ft. by eliminating 6 ’x24’ <br />of the proposed garagc/laundry addition]. <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />REQUESTED: To approve or amend the enclosed resolution.
