Design Review Committee <br />page 2 <br />At this time, Mn/DOT would like to request the participation of the following agencies and cities <br />to select committee members to serve on the “Design Review Committee”: <br />Cities of Long Lake and Orono - select three to four members with at least one member being a <br />citizen representative appointed by the city. <br />City of Wayzata - one or two members <br />Hennepin County - one staff person <br />Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad > one staff person <br />Department of Natural Resources - one or two staff persons (from time to time specialty <br />departments will attend for project specific issues). <br />Minnehaha Watershed District - one staff person <br />Hennepin County Parks - one staff person <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation - staff from Preliminary & Final Design, Bridge, <br />Environmental Services, and Site Development (from time to time specialty departments wi’l <br />attend for project specific issues). <br />We would like to keep the group to a manageable and workable size and determine the <br />attendance for this group by March 31, 1997. Please respond back to me by phone, letter, or fax, <br />with your appointments; names, mailing addresses, and phone and fax numbers. If there are <br />persons who would not want to be “official ” members of the committee, but rather be notified of <br />meeting agendas and mailed meeting minutes, please identify them and arrangment can be made to <br />do so. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 582-1293. <br />The first meeting is scheduled for April 2, 1997 at 7:00 PM at the Orono City Hall located at <br />2750 Kelley Parkway in Orono.
