A RESOLUTION ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FO*l <br />BRACKETTS POINT <br />SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the Cit\ of Orono is a municipal corporation existing under the laws <br />of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared a feasibility study to determine the <br />feasibility of serving the Bracketts Point neighborhood with sanitary sewer; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 10, 1997 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 3844 <br />receiving the feasibility report and calling for a public hearing for the Bracketts Point sanitary sewer <br />improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing <br />was given, and the hearing v'as held thereon on the 10th day of March, 1997, at which all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the installation of sanita 7 <br />sewer for the Bracketts Point neighborhood. <br />Adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on March 10, 1997 by a vote <br />of____ayes and_____nays. <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Dorothy M. llallin, City Clerk
