so. Every owner or tenant of such premises who has knowledge of the <br />disturbance shall cooperate with police officers and shall make every <br />reasonable effort to see that the disturbance is abated. <br />A violation of this ordinance shall be deemed to be the act of the owner of <br />the residential dwelling unit wherein it occurs as well as the persons on the <br />premises who violate the ordinance except that the owner of the dwelling <br />unit occupied by other shall be liable only for those violations occurring <br />after a written notice of the violation of this ordinance shall have been <br />received. <br />E. Loudspeakers, Amplifiers, Etc. No person shall operate or permit tfie use <br />or operation of any loudspeaker, sound amplifier, or other device for the <br />production or reproduction of sound on a street or other public place for the <br />purpose of attracting attention of the public. <br />F. Schools, Churches, Hospitals, Etc. No person shall create any excessive <br />noise on a street, alley or public grounds adjacent to a school, church or <br />hospital. <br />G. Human Noise. No person shall engage in yelling, shouting, screaming, <br />whistling, or singing at any time or place so as to annoy or disturb the <br />quiet, comfort, or repose of any persons in any residence or dwelling in the <br />vicinity of the source. <br />H. Loading, unloading, unpacking. No person shall create loud or excessive <br />noise in loading, unloading, or unpacking any vehicle. <br />Subd. 4. Hourly Restriction for Certain Operations. The uses described <br />below shall be limited to the times noted and as summarized in Table 2: <br />A. Domestic Power Equipment. No person shall operate a garden or lawn <br />tractor, power lawn mower, power hedge clipper, chain saw, mulcher, <br />garden tiller, edger, power device for bug eradication, drill, or other <br />similar domestic power maintenance equipment except between the hours <br />of 7:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. on any weekday or between the hours of <br />8:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. on weekends and holidays. Snow removal <br />equipment is exempt from this provision. <br />Page 5 of 8
