This is an older model lift station with the pumps and control panel located underground in <br />a dry well. Servicing of this equipment requires entering the dry well. This lift station will be <br />rehabilitated to a submersible pump type station with the control panel mounted above ground in <br />conformance with the other newer model lift stations. Servicing of the equipment will be possible <br />from ground level. Rehabilitation work is scheduled for the summer of 1997. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of lift station 06 and <br />authorizing advertisement for bids on this project.
