r ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR JANUARY 27,1997 <br />MEETING <br />F'EB 1 0 JQQ7 <br />ROLL <br />C/TV of ORONO <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: <br />Mayor Gabriel Jabbour, Council Members J. Diann Goetten, Charles Kelley, and Barbara <br />Peterson. Representing Staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, City Attorney Tom <br />Radio, Assistant Planning and Zoning Administrator Michael Gaffron, Planner Elizabeth <br />Van Zomeren, Public Services Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Sherry Frost. Mayor <br />Jabbour called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />(#1) OATH OF OFFICE - COREY FARNIOK, POLICE OFFICER <br />City Administrator Moorse administered the oath of office to Corey Farniok as Police <br />Officer. <br />(*#2) CONSENT AGENDA <br />Items #7, 8, 11. 14, and 15 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Goetten moved, Peterson seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. Vote: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />(*W) REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 13,1997 <br />Goetten moved, Peterson seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular City Council <br />Meeting of January 13, 1997. Vote; Ayes 4, Nay 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Susan Wilson invited the Council to attend the Friend of the Parks Award Ceremony on <br />Monday, February 3, 1997 at 7.00 p.m. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />No report was given. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no public comments.
