Analyst/Acct. <br />Subject: Purchase of Vehicles for Public Services Department. <br />The 1997 budget includes three vehicles for the Public Services Department. <br />1. A replacement single axle dump truck. This vehicle is used in snow removal and ice control <br />operations, as well as for other general and street maintenance operations. <br />2. A replacement 3/4 ton pickup with snow plow and related hydraulics. This vehicle is used in <br />snow removal and ice control operations, and is particularly useful in areas not accessible by <br />larger vehicles. The vehicle is also used for street, utility, and general maintenance operations. <br />3. A replacement 1/2 ton pickup.
