ri <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPOINTMENT <br />TO FILL A VACANCY ON THE CITY COUNCIL <br />1996,and <br />WHEREAS, Gabriel Jabbour was elected to the position of Mayor on November 5, <br />WHEREAS, Gabriel Jabbour resigned as Councilmember effective January 2,1997, <br />to become Mayor, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution Number 3832 Declaring a Council <br />Vacancy on January 13,1997. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Orono, Minnesota, appoints______________________________to fill the unexpired term of <br />Gabriel Jabbour. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT ADDITIONALLY RESOLVED, . that <br />______________must run for election at the November 3, 1998 election and win <br />in order to be a Councilmember beyond December 31, 1998. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br />January 27, 1997. <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
