RESOLUTION <843 <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL <br />PUBLIC SALE OF TAX FORFEITURE LAND <br />TRACT V, RLS 461 <br />•• . •t* •• <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota, and <br />. VHIEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, the City Council <br />has reviewed certain properties forfeited to the State for non-payment <br />of real estate taxes, and ^. <br />VJHEREAS, the City Council has decided to release for public <br />sale Tract V, RLS 461, tax parcel 38/43088/6000. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono approves the public sale of Tract V, RLS 461, with the <br />following stipulations to be entered in the chain of title: <br />1.The parcel exceeds the current minimum lot area required <br />in the zoning district, but the lot depth is substandard <br />under the current requirements and is not a buildable lot. <br />2. The Council will not vary the required lakeshore <br />conservation setback requirements arid making the lot <br />unbuildable. <br />3. The Council, therefore, encourages combination of Tract V, <br />RLS 461, with the adjacent substandard vacant Lot 184, <br />Taylor's Subdivision of Spring Park, said combination <br />providing one conforming building site. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular <br />meeting held October 11, 1977. <br />William B.Van Rest,Mayor <br />Attest
