The applicant should also <br />be asked for their testimony regarding this issue. <br />Issues <br />1. The residence was constructed prior to the adoption of the zoning ordinance. Most of the <br />structure is located within 75' of the lakeshore. <br />2. Removal of the concrete patio and a portion of the lakeside deck would decrease the overall <br />hardcover in the 0-75' lakeshore setback by 336 s.f. <br />3. <br />4. <br />0. <br />6. <br />An extension of the gabled roof would increase the height of the residence towards the hke. <br />Although, the hipped roof is directing water directly to the lake. The gabled roof would <br />divert water to the sides of the residence. <br />The 39 s.f. addition to the residence would require moving the basement wall out 3'.
