We are ^ <br />requesting a variance from this setback line of 35’ for a portion of the main structure and a variance of 40 <br />from the setback line for a portion of the pool terrace. This variance would place the closest portion of the <br />house approximately 90’ from the shoreline and the pool approximately 87 ’ from the shoreline. <br />We are requesting this variance to keep the proposed house at approximately Ae same elevation as oAer <br />houses on Ae peninsula. (See enclosed diagram). <br />Moving Ae proposed dwellmg landward at Ae lakeshore seAack Ime would require a first floor elevation <br />at appraximately 970 ’, which would effectively “perch” Ae house on top of Ac existing knoll on Ae <br />property (see attached photo).
