Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />#1064 CITY OF ORONO <br />SPATES AVENUE - LIFT STATION <br />CONDITIONAL USB PERMIT <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reviewed the <br />regarding the requirement for conditional use pormxt <br />for lift stations, an ordinance that has boon cn ’ <br />books since at least 1968, however the City- has nev^-r <br />previously filed a formal condtional use permit <br />application for construction of a lift station. When t*K* <br />issue was raised this year, staff had two courses <br />action to recommend to Council: <br />a) obtain an after-the-fact conditional use permit; <br />b) request an ordinance amendment to- delete <br />requirement never utilized. <br />Staff chose the former as it felt that location revi<'v <br />of such facilitieji is appropriately a land use issi;*'.
