Proposed Zoning Amendment - Land Alterations <br />March 12,1998 <br />Page 4 <br />Stair Recommendation <br />Staff recommends adoption of the proposed ordinance because it will give residents more flexibility <br />in conducting minor lakeshore land alterations without the typical 2-month delay caused by the CUP <br />process; because it gives staff the authority to refer questionable projects to the Council for review; <br />and as a side benefit, may slightly reduce the number of CUP’s needing processing.
