(Please see the attached tax <br />records for 1974 and for 1987). Orono Municipal Code Section 11.03.66 (a) <br />defines "the division of property previously combined for tax purposes* as <br />a Class Z Subdivision. Tax parcel PID 107-117-23 44 0047 is considered as <br />a Lot of Record per Section 10.03 Subdivision 6. <br />Your warranty deed dated December 30, 1986, appearing in City files as <br />a result of Homestead Classification request, indicates you purchased only <br />Lots 55 and 56, Highv/cod Lake Minnetonka. You have additionally provided <br />us with Registered Property Abstracts indicating that Lot 55 was originally <br />on a Certificate of Title No. 269397 and Lots 56 thru 61 inclusive were <br />covered under Certificate of Title No. 269398. I believe that Mr. Jamen <br />Touve during our phone dicussion on 7-7-87 was attempting to explain to mo <br />that as a result of the sale to you, he has had those Certificates revised <br />to include lots 55 and So on one Certificate of Title. If that is the <br />case, that still has no bearing on tho City's policy or ordir.ariVt.-.. <br />As of this date, you are paying taxes on Lot 57, although you do not <br />have title to it. It is e normal occurrence that the Hennepin County tax <br />department requests City approval on subdivisions prior to revising tax <br />records*.
