A hardcover variance is not required for this application. <br />STATEMENT OF HARDSHIP <br />Attachment K is the applicant's statement of hardship. He should also be asked for his testimony <br />regarding this issue. <br />Criteria for Determining Undue Hardship <br />1 . The property in question cannot be put to a reasonable use if used under conditions <br />allowed by the official controls. <br />The property could continue to be put to a reasonable use in its current state. The <br />construction of a new residence is not possible without a lot width variance, however. <br />2. The plight of the landowner is due to circumstances unique to his property not created <br />by the landowner. <br />The property is a lot of record that was platted prior to current zoning requirements.
