Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />Draft Ordinance <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ___, THIRD SERIES <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORONO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />BY AMENDING SECTION 78-1 REGARDING DEFINITIONS AND 78-644 <br />REGARDING DOG GROOMING AND SPA SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 78-1of the City of Orono Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />by adding text as follows: <br /> “Sec. 78-1. Definitions. <br />Dog Boarding means indoor overnight boarding services for more than three dogs aged <br />greater than six months. <br /> <br />Dog Daycare means indoor daycare services for more than three dogs aged greater <br />than six months. <br /> <br />Dog Grooming means a premises where pet grooming services such as bathing, teeth <br />cleaning, haircuts, and nail polishing and trimming are provided. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 78-644 of the City of Orono Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended by adding text as follows: <br /> “Sec. 86-644. Conditional uses. <br />(11.) Dog Boarding, with a maximum density of 1 dog per 85 square feet of floor area. <br />(12.) Dog Daycare, with a maximum density of 1 dog per 85 square feet of floor area. <br />(13.) Dog Grooming <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon <br />its passage and publication. <br />ADOPTED this ___th day of _____________, 2015 on a vote of __ ayes and __ <br />nays by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />
