The conditions do not apply generally to other land or structures in the district in which <br />said land is located. <br />Response: The proposed addition will not change the current setbacks from the lake or property <br />lines. The location of the existing home is unique. <br />10. The granting of the application is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a <br />substantial property right of the applicant. <br />Response: We plan to use the deck to enhance our access to the lake from the main level of our <br />home. This will increase our enjoyment of the lake and our home and alleviate difficulties that have <br />come with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. The deck is located in a place that serves the intent and <br />goals of the ordinance by minimizing visual impacts on the lake. <br />11. The granting of the proposed variance will not in any way impair health, safety, <br />comfort, morals, or in any other respect be contrary to the intent of the Zoning Code. <br />Response: The proposed project will not impair the health, safety, comfort, or morals of the public. <br />12.
