1p CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � "gyG ' No.7384 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 7374 <br /> WHEREAS,on June 12,2023,the City Council of the City of Orono ("City Council")adopted <br /> Resolution 7374,which is attached to this Resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council desires to clarify its direction to City Staff concerning the Navarre Fire <br /> Station and the end of the Contract for Fire Protection between the City of Orono and the City of <br /> Long Lake; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF ORONO,MINNESOTA: <br /> Paragraph No.2 of Resolution No. 7374 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 2. City Staff is directed to work collaboratively with City Staff from the City of Long Lake, <br /> including the Long Lake Fire Department, concerning the end of the City of Orono's <br /> participation in the Contract for Fire Protection with the City of Long Lake and the City <br /> of Medina.Further, City Staff shall coordinate with the City Staff from the City of Long <br /> Lake, including the Long Lake Fire Department, to ensure a smooth transition pursuant <br /> to the terms of the Contract for Fire Protection,including the orderly disposition of major <br /> equipment and orderly transition of fire stations. <br /> ADOPTED this 10th day of July, 2023, by the City Council of the City of Orono. <br /> CITY OF ORONO <br /> By: Ds <br /> Dennis Walsh,Mayor <br /> AT ST: <br /> Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br /> 1 <br />
