The <br />most southern pond will function as a skating pond (measured from <br />plan at 80' x 90' ). The wildlife pond has not been designated in the <br />larger wetland—it would appear from the applicant's sketch that he <br />plans to excavate the entire northern wetland. <br />The OHM of the northern wetland has been designated at 927' elevation <br />the plan must designate the area to be excavated, the amount of spoils <br />to be removed and the slope ratio of the banks. Are the islands in the <br />pond already there or are they to be created and if so with what kind of <br />fill material? The spoils from the excavation cannot be used in the <br />creation of the island areas. As with similar applications, the <br />spoils must be placed a minimum of 50' from the edge of the designated <br />wetland so that runoff will not wash nutrients back into wetlands and <br />out to lake. <br />#852 Gr Page 2
