The purpose of the action item is to gain approval accepting Officer Jay Dembouski’s <br />resignation. <br /> <br />2. Background / Summary. Jay Dembouski was hired as a part-time police officer by the City of <br />Orono May 10, 2022, after he retired as a full-time police officer with more than 32 years of service in <br />March of 2022. Jay Dembouski has submitted his resignation as of May 22, 2023. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation.
