The lack of a
certificate of occupancy indicates that construction completion
has never been verified by the Building Inspector. Indeed,
contractor John Larobin promised by a March 24, 1970 letter"to
date (renew) the building permit which was inactive
mu- time. The renewal permit was never applied for or issued.
This fact, and the lack of a certificate of occupancy, was
brought to light by the current ta.x-exempt application, and resulted
in my October 1982 letter suggesting an inspection be made to
verify the current status of construction and code compliance.
You may call me to discuss this matter at any time. It is not
our intention to be an adversary of the Church; instead, i believe
It IS in everyone's interest to clearly establish a record of
past and current use of this property so that we can proceed
from this point foreward in the most efficient manner possible.
Sincere Ivf, .
/ ^an P.
