The Zoning Administrator presented a copy of the Notice <br />of Public Hearing. <br />The Zoning Administrator stated tliat the area of concern <br />is property south of the County property between County <br />Road 15 and 19 and the 2 lots north of #15 and east of <br />Blaine. *niis urea would be rezoned from present LR-lC-1 <br />(residentialj to B-5 (Limited Neighboihood Business <br />District). Hank Muhi(± pointed out this proposed rezoning <br />to those in attendance. The following came forward to <br />identify themselves: Conrad Schimmelpfennig, Clifford <br />Klapotz and Bert Gallistel. They were interested in <br />knowing vdiat some of the proposed uses would be. Chair- <br />worn^ Dunlap then informed them that uses such as <br />municipal buildings, offices, clinics, locksmiths, hobby <br />shop, jewelry store, library, record shop, pet shop, etc. <br />would be permitted. After all the public were heard, the <br />public hearing was closed at 8:15 p.m. <br />Those people vho were at this meeting did not express any <br />objection to this rezoning. The Zoning Administrator <br />informed those in attendance that this B-5 zone would have <br />to be established before proceeding with the Navarre <br />rezoning. At the present time, there are no plans for any <br />proposed building. <br />Woolley moved, Guthrie seconded, that the new B-5 zone be <br />granted and subject property be designated as B-5. Also <br />recommended adoption of zoning ordinance amendment. <br />Motion - Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />NAVARRE AREA REZONING 6 ORDINANCE AMENEMENT (#193) <br />The Zoning Administrator informed the C miission that no <br />new material had been submitted. However, the new owner <br />of this property, Jim DeSplinter, was present and submitted <br />his proposed plans. After reviewing these plans, it was <br />discovered that all the necessary data was not included. <br />The Zoning Administrator informed the new applicant that it <br />would be necessary to meet with him to discuss this proposal <br />in order to meet the requirements. <br />Hannah moved, Guthrie seconded, to table this application <br />until the Zoning Administrator has a chance to review. <br />Motion - Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />ROBERT JOHNSON <br />1121 ELMI^D AVENUE <br />VARIANCE - LOT AREA § <br />WIDIH <br />(#164) <br />The Zoning Administrator informed the Commission that he <br />did not have all the material requested. He did have a <br />conversation with the flood plain people and Hainepin <br />County Conservation District will outline wetlands area <br />for us. We are also waiting for a feasibility report as <br />far as the septic system is concerned.
