It’s unreasonable to provide notice of the availability of an 85- <br />page in-depth, fire needs assessment to citizens who have little <br />to no understanding about the complexities of fire service just 24 <br />hours before the comment period ends. Clearly this is a more <br />complicated issue that affects public safety and has significant <br />tax ramifications. I’d like to see the City spend more time on this <br />issue, complete with independent third-party input and <br />recommendations and provide clear information to Orono <br />residents before making any decisions. <br />Email not displaying correctly?
