We do not require another fire <br />department or relish a tax increase. <br />My family lost our home in Scottsdale, AZ, to a terrible fire. The <br />smoke detectors went off at 5:00 am, and we ran for our lives. <br />The windows were blowing out as we got the children and dogs <br />out. The fire department was inept on many levels. <br />The critical takeaway is that we survived. We do not want to live <br />in a community where the fire department is not up to par.
