The purpose of this action item is to gain council approval of an equipment loan agreement <br />with City of Long Lake for the recently purchase Chevy Tahoe command vehicle. <br /> <br />2. Background. The Orono City Council authorized purchase of a replacement vehicles for LLFDs two <br />command in August of 2022. Two Tahoes were purchased. One was purchased in accordance with the <br />existing fire contract (joint ownership) and the second was purchased solely by the City of Orono with the <br />intent of being used by the LLFD. The Orono purchased vehicle is ready to be outfitted for service and <br />the city of Long Lake has requested its use for the fire department. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff Recommendation. My recommendation is that the vehicle be provided to Long Lake for the <br />use of the LLFD and that the attached equipment load agreement be approved by council for the same. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve the loan agreement at exhibit A for the loan of command vehicle for Long Lake Fire <br />Department use. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br />A.
