MINNESOTA STUDIO CITY, CALIFORNIA 91604 <br />GEC JOB NO: 2525 DATE: JULY 28, 1980 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />On July 24, 1980, we drilled two test borings at the referenced site. Based <br />on the results of the borilris, we have provided recontnendat ions for design <br />and construction of the floor slab and foundation with respect to the sub- <br />surface conditions. <br />TEST BORINGS <br />The boring locations are shown un the attached sketch. The borings were made <br />at locations suggesLed by the client. <br />The borings were made using the ;tandird penetratinn - split spoon method. <br />Refer to the attached sheet !Test Boring and Sampling Procedures) for addi- <br />tional infonl-ation regarding the test taring and sampling procedures. <br />The soils were classified in accordance with the ASTM Visual -Manual Method <br />(ASTM D 2488). Refer to the attached sheet (Unified Soil Classification <br />System) for a description of the classifiLation method. <br />The elevation of the ground surface at the borings was determined in refer- <br />ence to the top nut of the fire hydrant located on the west side of Casco <br />Point Road appro•inlately 25' south of the southeast property corner.
