Council meetings are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the <br />month at 7:00 p.m. As in the past, only one Council meeting is scheduled in December. <br />Planning Commission is scheduled to meet the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. January and <br />February are the exceptions because of Monday holidays. In those months, the meetings will be on <br />the third Wednesday. In past years, there has not been a meeting of the Planning Commission <br />scheduled in December. <br />Park Commission meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month at 7:15 p.m. <br />Exceptions are July 4 and September 6, when the meetings are rescheduled for Wednesday, July 5 <br />and Tuesday, September 5 because of the holidays. <br />The City schedules eleven holidays throughout the year, which are indicated with an "X". Because <br />July 4 falls on a Tuesday, staff is recommending that Monday, July 3 be designated as the floating <br />holiday this year. Only ten holidays are shown on the 2000 calendar because Friday, December 31 <br />is the official New Year’s Day holiday; however, it is considered one of the eleven scheduled <br />holidays for 2000. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to amend/approve/table the 2000 Meeting Schedule.
