9.4 Notification of MPCA. The Health <br />Authority shall in accordance with state law <br />notify the MPCA of any inspection, <br />installation, design, construction, alteration <br />or repair of an ISTS by a lironsed person or <br />any pumping by u licensed pumper done in <br />violation of the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. <br />SUBDIVISION 10: ADDITIONAL <br />STANDARDS FOR HEALTH AND <br />environmental PROTECTION. <br />10.1 Siting of an ISTS. Notwithstanding any <br />state or federal requirements, the separation <br />distance from an ISTS to a Type 3, 4, 5 or 6 <br />wetland shall be no less than fifty (50) feet. <br />10.2 Alternative and Experimental Systems. <br />10.21 Alternative and experimental systems <br />arc allowed only in areas where the <br />Health Authority has determined that <br />a standard system cannot be installed <br />or is not the most suitable treatment. <br />10.22 Any required monitoring plan for an <br />alternative ISTS is the responsibility <br />of the ISTS Designer. The <br />monitoring plan .shall provide <br />information as to: <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />The specific modification to a <br />standard system. <br />The type and parameters for <br />monitoring which shall <br />be conducted to assure that the <br />change will protect public <br />health and the environment, <br />including the monitoring time <br />period and the and the person <br />responsible for conducting the <br />monitoring and reporting. <br />A mitigation plan detailing <br />what will be done if the system <br />fails to meet the expectations <br />established by the monitoring <br />plan requirements. <br />10.23 The results of the monitoring of an <br />alternative ISTS shall be submitted in <br />accordance with the approved <br />monitoring plan to the Health <br />Authority. <br />10.3 Warrantied Systems. Warrantied systems, <br />as discussed in Minn. Stat., Chapter 115.55, <br />subd. 8, arc prohibited. <br />10.4 Maintenance Report.
