City of OR-OIVO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1977_________ <br />b) Construction of low mounds on left side of fairway §1} <br />averaging 3-5' in height, filling of approximately 75 cubi <br />yards . <br />c) Fill in the existing bunker on hole #13, approximately : <br />cubic yards of fill. <br />d) Pond on fairway #5, 25'x75'x5* deep, 350 cubic yarc <br />excavation. <br />e) Rebuild bunkers at rear of hole #8, approximately 1000 cub: <br />yards of fill, all on high ground. <br />f) Extension of the tee #17, filling of approximately 370 cub <br />yards, all on high ground. <br />g) Construction of a shelter building, 12'7*'xl5'7", one sto: <br />in height, located southeast of tee #12, locat< <br />approximately 90' from the nearest property line, a <br />requiring no variances to the zoning code. <br />6. The proposed projects are located in the upper reach <br />of the watershed; runoff from this area travels thoughts seri <br />of swales, ditches, and wetlands before reaching Lake Minneton <br />an approximate distance of 1 mile away; the proposed projec <br />are insignificant within the overall watershed and will have <br />significant effect on the quality or quantity of runoff wat <br />entering Lake Minnetonka. <br />7. The City Council has considered the application including t <br />findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission, repoi <br />by staff and comments of the applicant and the effect <br />proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the communit' <br />8. The City Council finds that granting a Conditional Use Permit <br />allow the proposed excavation and construction projects will r <br />be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of t <br />public, would not adversely affect light, air nor pose f " <br />hazard or other danger to neighboring properties, nor wi <br />doreciate surrounding property values and that the propoi <br />1 vel of use of the property will be in keeping with the in^' <br />and objectives of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of <br />City. <br />CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br />Based upon the above findings, the Orono City Council her <br />grants a Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section
