o REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
io<uP
ADDITION TO AGENDA
Date: November 22,1999
Item No.: N/A ^7^
Department Approval:Administrator Approval:
Name: Michael P. Gaftron
Titie: Senior Planning Coordinator
Agenda Section:
Zoning
Item Description: #2438 Michael Sletten & Mary K. Sletten and B. Peter Achey, 4680/4720
Bayside Road - Lot Line Rearrangement - Second Extension to Effective Period of
Preliminary Approval
List of Exhibits
A - Extension Resolution
B - Prior Extension Resolution
In November 1998 Council approved Resolution No. 4205, approving a lot line rearrangement for
the Slettens and B. Peter Achey to provide a site for septic system replacement for Achey. In May
1999 the applicants requested and Council approved a 6-month extension of the effective date of
final plat approval (to November 23, 1999), because the applicants had been unable to obtain the
necessary consents for filing from mortgagees in New Jersey who had been unresponsive. This
morning I was advised by the City Attorney that while the consents had finally been received,
additional documentation including a Certificate of Real Estate Value had not been provided by the
applicant, and therefore filing cannot occur before the November 23 deadline. The City Attorney
has requested that the effective period of subdivision approval be extended 1 additional month to
December 23, 1999. Staff concurs.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED
4-
Adopt the attached resolution extending the effective period of subdivision approval for Michael
Sletten & Mary Kay Sletten aka Mary K. Snetsinger to December 23,1999.
