(.43 acres) <br />This application requires the following variances: <br />Section 10.22, Subd. 2 and Section 10.56, Subd. 16 (L) (2): Lakeshore Hardcover and Land <br />Alteration Regulations. Within 75 to 250 feet of the shoreline there shall be no greater than 25% <br />hardcover. To permit 6,310 s.f. (42.57%) of hardcover in the 75’-250' setback area where 6,3 10 s.f <br />(42.57%) exists, juid 4,642.5 s.f (25%) is allowed. <br />Section 10.22, Subd. 1 (B) and Section 10.56, Subd. 16 (C)(6): No principal or accessory structure <br />shall be located closer to the lakeshore than the average distance from the shoreline of existing <br />residence buildings on adjacent lots. To permit a three season porch and deck to replace an existing <br />deck that encroaches 21' into the average lakeshore setback. <br />Application Summary: The applicants are proposing to remove an existing second story deck <br />(10.6’ X 32.4’) and replace it with a 10.6' x 23.4' three season porch and 10.6’ x 9' wood deck. The <br />applicant is not increasing the size of the space, but changing its use. The space will consist <br />primarily of the three season porch and a small portion (10') on the end will remain deck.
