The lowest responsible bidder was Minncomm <br />Inc. Mora, Minnesota with a bid of $31,936.00. The total estimated project costs are $52,101 <br />for two residential sewer connections. This cost includes the Minnetonka Beach connection <br />charges. <br />The property owners have signed a "Petition for Local Improvement Form" that waives any <br />assessment appeal rights. This form also contains a provision that requires the owners to file deed <br />covenants that restrict the property to two dwelling units per City Council Resolution No. 4341. <br />A "Sanitary Sewer Connection Letter of Agreement" with the City of Minnetonka Beach is <br />attached. This agreement has already been approved by the City Minnetonka Beach. We are <br />recommending Council approval of this agreement. <br />We are recommending award of the construction contract to Minncomm Inc. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve resolution awarding the contract for the Head Property, 2090 Shoreline Drive, <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvements to Minncomm Inc. Mora Minnesota in the amount of $31,936.00 <br />Motion to approve "Sanitary Sewer Connection Letter of Agreement" with the City of Minnetonka <br />Beach for sanitary sewer service for the Head Property, 2090 Shoreline Drive.
