PC Exhibit f <br /> LA23-000002 <br /> *OriNINI4CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF TIDE CITY COUNCIL <br /> 1. <br /> c)` NO._-.._ 7 0 9 8 <br /> A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE REALIGNMENT <br /> OF COUNTY ROAD 15 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under <br /> the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County Road 15 is owned and operated by Ilennepin County: and <br /> WHEREAS, the section of County Road 15 near Tanager Lake will be realigned and the <br /> property it is currently on will, in part,no longer he needed for the road; and <br /> WHEREAS,by law, when the new road is open for travel, property on which the County <br /> road existed,but is no longer needed for transportation purposes,becomes property of the City by <br /> a function of law. Minn. Stat. § 162.02 subd. 7; Minn. Stat. § 160.09 sub.1;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after reviewing the County's plans for realignment, finds <br /> that there is no public use or benefit for this parcel of land; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> At such time when the project is completed and the County relinquishes unused portions <br /> of County Road 15 to the City,the City will vacate the land pursuant Minn.
