�.QNO CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. 73 54 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> AN EXTENSION TO <br /> RPUD MASTER DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR ORONO APARTMENTS <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT NO. 17 <br /> FILE NO. 23-000009 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") is a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter"City Council") adopted land <br /> development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Orono Apartments LLC is the owner(hereinafter the"Owner") of the property at <br /> 2745 Kelley Parkway, legally described at Lot 1, Block 2, City of Orono Addition (hereinafter the <br /> "Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council granted a Master Development Plan approval, LA20-000001, <br /> for the proposed 56 unit apartment building via Resolution 7085, which had an original expiration <br /> date of April 13, 2021; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Staff granted a one year extension until April 13, 2022; and <br /> WHEREAS, on January 7, 2022, the City Council granted the Owner's second request for <br /> an extension to April 13, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 14, 2023, due to issues related to material supply and labor, the <br /> Owner requested a third Master Development Plan approval extension to April 13, 2024. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Orono does hereby <br /> grant a 3rd extension for Master Development Plan Approval for PUD No. 17, to expire April 13, <br /> 2024 unless a building permit has been obtained. <br /> ADOPTED by the Orono City Council on this 21st day of March, 2023. <br /> ATTEST: CITY OF ORONO: <br /> (0ifia-441)--- <br /> Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> 1 <br />
