The purpose of the action item is to approve the revised collective bargaining agreement <br />(CBA) between the City and IUOE, Local 49 for 2023-2025. <br /> <br />2. Background / Summary. International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), Local 49 represents <br />the city’s Public Works and Parks Employees. The current agreement was approved on November 28, <br />2022. Since that approval an error was identified in the document. A portion of the wording in Article <br />13.1 On Call were inadvertently deleted during the final editing process. <br /> <br />3. Agreement revisions. The following items were revised in the agreement. <br /> <br />a. Article 13.1. Deleted portions restored. <br /> <br />b. Appendix A. Effective date for Longevity Pay changed from 2021 to 1 Jan 2023. <br /> <br />c. Appendix C. Yellow highlighting removed from text. <br /> <br />d. AFL-CIO reference. Removed AFL CIO references from document at IUOE Local 49 request. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
