<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. 7357 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />OF THE ORONO BASEBALL ASSOCIATION FOR <br />A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association has submitted an application to <br />conduct lawful gambling activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association has proposed to conduct a one-day <br />gambling activity as part of its fundraising activities at the Orono Activities Center to be held on <br />June 17, 2023; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Baseball Association is required to obtain approval of the <br />one-day gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful <br />gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby approve the application of the Orono Baseball Association to conduct a one-day <br />gambling activity at the Orono Activities Center located at 795 Old Crystal Bay Road North, <br />Orono, MN 55356 on June 17, 2023. <br /> <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 10th day of April <br />2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />ATTEST: Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
