the project assessment, grinder pumps were furnished to the property owners. These pumps were <br />install^ by the plumber hired by the property owner to complete the sewer connection to the <br />house. These grinder pumps are owned and operated by the property owners. There is an extra <br />grinder pump available because the pump would not work for one of the property owners and they <br />were given a credit to pay for their own pumping system. This grinder pump will be provided to <br />Mr. Cox for installation by his plumber. Connection of this property will require tapping of the <br />forcemain in North Brown Road. We are recommending that Cit^ Engineer approval be required <br />for the sewer connection plans and that construction inspection be required for any work in the <br />public right of way. The property owner will be responsible for all costs associated with the sewer <br />connection. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve use of one sewer unit for connection of 925 North Brown Road to sanitary <br />sewer with the property owner responsible for all costs associated with hookup, including the <br />connection fee for the North Long Lake sewer project, and City Engineer plan approval required.
