Case, ASLA <br />Landscape Architect/Planner <br />Review of Revised Landscape Plan <br />Class III Preliminary Subdivision and Planned Residential Development <br />Brook Park Realty/Tonka Ventures <br />3560 Shoreline Drive <br />Application # 2308 <br />We have reviewed the revised landscape plan for the proposed Lake Minnetonka <br />Woods project and have the following comments. <br />I fmHfteaoe Plan: <br />e <br />The revised landscape plan proposes a total of 34 deciduous overstory trees, 23- <br />deciduous ornamental trees, 16 evergreen trees and 166 deciduous shrubs. The <br />amount of landscaping being proposed Is sparse in several area’s. <br />However, as noted during our prior review, this project will preserve a number of^ .. <br />significant trees and a large amount of woods and open space. In addition, the site <br />development will result in a relatively small amount of land that vrill be suitable for <br />landscaping. We recommend that the City consider requiring the following changes <br />end conditions prior to the acceptance of a landscape plan. <br />1, • The Landscaping section of the zoning ordinance requires that the project be <br />landscaped with trees, shrubs and planted ground covers.
