r <br />II. Summary and Recommendations <br />The construction of sanitary sewer to serve the Fullerton Subdivision area is feasible from an <br />engineering standpoint. The project is necessary because of non-confonning septic systems, <br />proximity to the lakeshore, and lack of alternate septic sites. The capital cost as well as operation <br />and maintenance costs have been considered in determining that the project is cost elective. The <br />cost of these improvements are interrelated and should be assigned equitably between all properties. <br />The following recommendations are presented for consideration by the Orono City Council: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />That this Report be adopted as the guide for installation of sanitary sewer in the <br />Fullerton Subdivision area. <br />That the City conduct a legal and fiscal review of the proposed project prior to the <br />public hearing. <br />That a public hearing be held on the proposed improvements.
