Through a cooperative agreement with Mn/DOT, the cost of the <br />study ($20,000) will be paid by Mn/DOT. The study is complete and has been reviewed with the <br />City Council. Mn/DOT is now reviewing the study report to ensure the study meets the requirements <br />set out in the Scope of Services. Because HDR has completed the study and the Mn/DOT review <br />will delay the payment to HDR, HDR has requested the City pay a substantial portion of the cost at <br />this time. As indicated above, the costs paid by the City will be reimbursed by Mn/DOT. <br />Staff recommends the payment of 75% of the project cost or $15,000 at this time. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the payment of 75% or $15,000 of the total noise/vibration study cost to HDR <br />Engineer, Inc.
