if D- <br />A RESOLUTION MOVING THE <br />BUILDING INSPECTOR POSITION <br />TO LEVEL 8 OF THE CITY'S PAY SCHEDULE <br />WHEREAS, the City has a pay schedule as part of its compensation plan that sets <br />out the pay levels and pay ranges for all non-union, regular positions; and <br />WHEREAS, changes to the City's pay schedule require City Council approval; and <br />WHEREAS, a review of Building Inspector position pay levels in other cities shows <br />the City’s pay range is substantially lower than those in comparable cities; and <br />WHEREAS, moving the Building Inspector position from Level 7 to Level 8 of the <br />City pay schedule will move the position substantially closer to the pay levels of comparable cities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby amend the City's pay schedule to move the Building Inspector position from Level 7 to Level <br />8 of the City's pay schedule. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 26th day of July, 1999. <br />ATTEST: <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />Linda S.
