Box 66 <br />Orono, MN 55323 <br />NET: HTTP//«WOLDAE.CO.M <br />Re: Independent School District #278 <br />Orono High School Media Center Addition <br />Commission No. 99016 <br />Dear Mr. Gaffron: <br />Independent School District #278 is pleased to submit the attached Conditional Use <br />Permit application for the Orono Hi^ School Addition. <br />The High School Addition features new media center space for high school students, <br />These spaces total approximately 7,800 gross square feet in accordance with the <br />referendum.. <br />The attached documentation supports the conditional use application, as well as items <br />referenced in section 10.09, Subd.. 3 of the Orono zoning ordinance: <br />1. The High School Addition is 7,800 gross square feet and one story. <br />2. The building height: one story plus parapet totaling 16 ’-8 ” feet above grade on west <br />side of building. These numbers are in accordance with sections 10.21 and section <br />10.75M of the zoning ordinance. <br />3. Schematic building elevations are included. <br />It should be noted that the site work for this project was submitted and reviewed by the <br />City of Orono, on February 17,1999, and was assigned application #2471. The work we <br />are currently submitting for is only for the Media Center addition.
