The existing deck has <br />been removed. The new proposed deck will be in the same location and the same size. The deck <br />area lies within the 0'-75' lakeshore setback area. The hardcover amount for the lot will not increase <br />with the new deck. The applicant seeks approval of a variance for lakeshore setback and hardcover. <br />This application requires the following variances: <br />1. Section 10.22, Subd. 1 (A): To permit a lakeshore setback variance to allow the proposed deck <br />to be located within 75' of the lakeshore. <br />2. Section 10.22, Subd. 2 and Section 10.56, Subd. 16(L)(l): To permit a hardcover variance to <br />allow 573 s.f. (11.94%) of hardcover in the 0 ’-75' lakeshore setback area to permit the construction <br />of the proposed deck. The amount of hardcover allowed in this area is 0 s.f. (0%).
