Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Administrator Reviewed:Agenda Section: <br />Administrator's Report <br />Item Description: Safe Assure Cooperative Safety Training <br />In 1998, the fourteen Lake Minnetonka Area Cooperating Cities (LMACC) started a cooperative <br />safety training program using SafeAssure consultants to provide safety training, safety policy <br />manuals, and other required documentation. The first year of this program was very successful <br />and all of the Cities have been satisfied with the services provided and have decided to renew their <br />contracts with SafeAssure for another year. <br />We are recommending Council approval of the SafeAssure proposal for another year at a cost of <br />$2,826. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approval of the proposal from Safe Assure Consultants for conducting safety training and <br />preparation of the related written programs and documentation at an annual cost of $2,826.
