Maple Plain and Medina have approved the closing of Townline Road. <br />Independence has forwarded its resident’s comments to MN Dot with no <br />recommendation either way. Tom O’Keefe says that that is acceptable to MN Dot as <br />tacit approval. <br />Furthermore, Maple Plain has received cooperative agreement funds to install water <br />across Highway 12 and up Townline Road contingent upon all four cities granting <br />approval. <br />Therefore, at this time, all we need is Orono ’s approval of the project to proceed.
