A RESOLUTION AWARDING <br />THE CONTRACT FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS <br />IN THE ORONO ORCHARDS AREA <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the installation of sanitary <br />sewer improvements in the Orono Orchards improvement area, bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Widmer, Inc., St. Bonifacius, Minnesota is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />Minnesota: <br />1. <br />2. <br />12, 1999. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />construction contract with Widmer, Inc., St. Bonifacius, Minnesota, in the name <br />of the City of Orono for the installation of sanitary sewer improvements in the <br />Orono Orchards area according to the plans and specifications therefor approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of <br />$424,713.50. <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Orono City Council at a regular Council meeting held on April <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
